Fishing jacket or waterproof shell: know the difference

A utility fishing jacket provides organised storage and an extra garment layer. It should not be confused with a waterproof rain shell or a personal flotation device.

The FI-JAC listing describes cotton twill, a full zip and several pockets. Inner-pocket water protectors are a specific pocket feature; they do not establish a waterproof rating for the complete garment.
